Life Groups

On Mission Together

Life Groups are a key part of our mission to reach our city with the gospel of Jesus Christ and build community within the local church. With an emphasis on worship, Bible study, and outreach, Life Groups connect the church with God, each other, and our neighbors throughout the course of daily life. Life Groups meet in homes, coffee shops, restaurants, parking lots, or any other convenient location and time. For us, the meeting place isn't as important as meeting people where they're at - whether equipping believers or engaging those far from God. In Life Groups, we explore faith, discover community, and serve on mission together.

Resilient Faith

For so many Christians in the American culture, faith is an easy thing. They go to church, they read the Bible, and they love Jesus. But what happens when their com- fortable world is turned upside down? For too many people, their faith is shaken. We all face, or will face, difficult times when we need to stand firm in our Christ centered faith. The Book of 1 Peter offers the needed understanding of what a resilient faith looks like and how we can stand strong regardless of what comes at us.

It usually happens before we know it. One day's actions become the next day's habits and suddenly, it seems, the scale is tipping. We find ourselves in serious need of some balance. And in serious need of more joy. And that's what this study will help you find— balance and joy. We all know that there are biblical mandates for both work and rest. But there's also the instruction to find joy in both. And in that joy you can discover how to move from living and earning for yourself to discovering that your job and paycheck are resources you can in- vest for the kingdom of God.

Stand Strong

None of us is immune to the trials and tribulations of life. Even followers of Christ face difficult days. Wouldn't it be great to know we have a constant source of strength and encouragement to depend on, no matter how difficult life may become? There is good news. A constant source of comfort, encouragement, strength, and promise is available! God has given us His Word to help us navigate life’s challenges. The Bible is filled with promises that come directly from the heart of God to encourage us no matter what we might be facing.

Be The Message

Maybe you’re troubled by the disconnect between the words you speak and the life you live. Have you ever felt like there’s a gap between what you say and the needs of people around you? “Be the Message” is a study fo- cused on waking up to the reality of the gospel—not just a gospel of words and sermons, but the gospel of inten- tion and action and people. It’s time to stop talking about about your faith and start living what you believe. This study bridges the gap between belief and action by encouraging you to be God’s hands and feet in the world.
